Gerred Blyth has spent many years in interactive experience consultancy in the UK and internationally, having directed user experience research, design and strategy for 10 years for clients such as BBC, Sony, Camelot, O2, ITV, Credit Suisse and many others.

These projects – from consumer websites to intranets, and mobile apps to video games – have required Gerred to form project teams and steer the user experience of the product in question, working closely with those responsible for the technical and market positioning aspects of each product.

He has also amounted a great deal of hands-on experience, in personally designing hundreds of elegant information architectures and wireframe solutions, and running thousands of one-on-one user experience
research sessions.

He is a respected industry speaker and commentator, and has spent many years before now in prominent committee positions for UK Usability Professionals Association and the British Computer Society.
